Daniela Tully

Daniela has worked in emerging and leading film industries around the world, in ten countries, on four continents, and has over a decade of experience working as development executive, executive producer and producer, both in the corporate structure and on the ground, both in the US and the international arena.

Most recently, as VP of Development and Production at Imagenation Abu Dhabi, where she lived for almost three years, she produced two feature films, SEA SHADOW, which premiered at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival, followed by prominent film festivals in the US, Oman, Czech Republic, Germany, Morocco and China, and Tobe Hooper’s upcoming horror thriller DJINN. Tully also headed the content divisions of the company’s joint ventures with Participant Media and National Geographic Films, through which the company has been involved in such projects as the critically-acclaimed FAIR GAME, box-office hits CONTAGION and THE BEST EXOTIC MARIGOLD HOTEL, as well as the Oscar-winning THE HELP.

Previously, Tully worked as a Senior Network Executive of original productions at ProSieben, one of Germany’s leading private networks, where she executive-produced numerous features and long-running series. Her visionary work introducing a new core strategy to the network (surprise, surprise, one related to horror thrillers…) resulted in GONGER, which achieved record ratings and kickstarted a successful wave of made-for-TV horror thrillers.

Prior to ProSieben, Tully was employed by Tandem Communications as their Head of Development, overseeing acquisition and development of major international co-productions. Before coming to Tandem, Tully worked with director Uli Edel for over five years and was actively involved in several of his most successful miniseries, during which she gathered invaluable experience working on sets in South Africa, Malta, Italy, Mexico, Australia and Eastern Europe.
